Hello everybody, I come from France and unfortunately I don't speak spanish (and I do not trust google translate with their wrong translations). I have been keeping ants for 3 years, and I have kept lot of species (the list is too long ^^). Nowadays, I just keep : Crematogaster scutellaris, Messor barbarus, Messor capitatus, Messor minor (hesperius), Messor structor, Messor wasmanni, Polyrhachis illaudata.

I love Messor species and I have discovered this website with Mendelius and his incredible work (= book) on Messor barbarus. I have also started some experimentations on 46 "little colonies" Messor barbarus (I did not know the good translation of "fondation" wich means in french a colony with the alone queen or queen + first workers). I hope we will share lot of knowledges .

I am biology and geology student in university (Master), and I hope to become biology/geology teacher for secondary school .

Il aurait été intéressant que tu serais revenu à un congrès "taxomara" qui sera réalisé à Madrid du 4 juillet au 7 juillet. Plusieurs parlent Français ou anglais. Il y a une atmosphère très amiable d'amateurs et scientifiques.
